Mohamed is a surface well testing specialist and Software Engineer — operating at the intersection of frontline wellsite operations and frontier AI software.

From wellsite operations on live wells to late-night system design, he engineers solutions that scale: certified training programs for petroleum engineers, AI tools that translate raw well data into decisions, and intelligence.

Well Testing Operator

Almansoori Petroleum Service (MPS), Abu Dhabi, UAE

Operated and controlled surface well testing operations to evaluate reservoir performance and fluid characteristics, including flowback, flaring, acid stimulation support, unloading, re-injection, cementing, milling, well kick-off, pigging, de-oiling, well clean-up, and well killing operations.
Performed oil and gas sampling and analysis, including BS&W, API gravity, water specific gravity, gas specific gravity (Ranarex), oil shrinkage, salinity (PTB), and H₂S & CO₂ detection using Dräger tubes.
Interpreted field data and charts (e.g., Barton charts) to support inflow, integrity, injectivity, and pressure testing operations.
Utilized data acquisition and monitoring systems such as Fekete and Modbus to track well performance.
Prepared detailed operational reports and managed Permit to Work (PTW) documentation in compliance with safety standards.
Executed critical field operations including burner boom positioning, well opening/closing, manifold maintenance and rebuilding, equipment greasing, and rigging setup/teardown while maintaining strict safety and operational accuracy.
Collaborated across multiple offshore and onshore well testing projects, working on rigs such as Al-Hail, Alreem, Al Saadiyat, Mehzem, and Makasib, as well as various Barges and vessels including Supporter, Surprise 2, Swissco, Azzam, Al Saqr, and INW3.
Gained experience across oil, gas, and water wells in diverse operational environments.
Operated and monitored key well testing equipment including separators, pumps, tanks, burner systems, choke manifolds, and control valves to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Utilized strong observational and mathematical skills while well testing Operations to ensure accurate data and safe, efficient operations.
Supported knowledge sharing and on-site guidance for junior crew members by explaining well testing processes, equipment functions, and data interpretation in a simplified and practical manner.
