Shrinkage Model ($1/B_o$)

$$\text{Shrinkage} = \frac{1}{B_o}$$
This empirical model adjusts observed gas gravity for temperature before calculating the liquid volume correction factor ($F_{vol}$).
Shrinkage Calculation Steps
$$yg_{adj} = \gamma_{g,obs} + [0.00069 - (0.0003725 \cdot \gamma_{g,obs})] \cdot (T_{obs} - 60)$$
$$F1 = \left( \frac{1.797}{yg_{adj}} - 1.838 \right) \cdot P_{sep}$$
$$F2 = API_{obs} \cdot (0.02 - 3.57 \times 10^{-6} \cdot F1) + 0.25$$
$$F_{vol} = F1 \cdot \sqrt{\frac{F2}{yg_{adj}}} + 1.25 \cdot T_{sep}$$
